Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of LegalTranslate UAE and sets out our commercial pricing rules, page variation tolerance, and service obligations.
1.Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer” or “you”) and RAS Corporate Advisors LLC (“LegalTranslate”, “we”, “us”), governing your access to and use of the LegalTranslate UAE website, quotation engine, certified translation, and attestation services.
By uploading a document, accepting a quotation, or completing a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2.Scope of Services & Licensed Fulfilment
LegalTranslate provides an online platform for certified legal translation to Arabic and document attestation services. Where required, translation work may be fulfilled by appropriately licensed UAE legal translators under confidentiality obligations.
Non-Government Entity Disclosure: LegalTranslate and RAS Corporate Advisors LLC are private commercial service entities and are not government agencies or ministries. Certified translations are produced in compliance with UAE legal standards; however, final acceptance remains subject to the specific rules and discretion of the receiving authority.
3.Translation Pricing & Estimated Page Formula
Translation pricing is calculated based on actual translatable content, not the raw number of physical PDF or image pages uploaded:
- Standard Formula: 1 estimated translation page = 195 translatable words (rounded up to the next full page:
CEIL(words / 195)). - Retail Rate: AED 45.00 per estimated translation page.
- Minimum Charge: Minimum order charge is 2 translation pages (AED 90.00 + VAT).
- UAE VAT: Value Added Tax (VAT) of 5% applies to all orders in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.
4.Transparent Page Count Variation Policy
Because automated character analysis may vary depending on document formatting, stamps, or handwritten notes, we enforce our Transparent Variation Guarantee:
- Tolerance Guarantee (±2 pages): If the final certified translation page count differs from the initial automated estimate by 2 translation pages or fewer, LegalTranslate covers the difference. You are charged AED 0.00 extra.
- Material Increase (> 2 pages): If the final page count exceeds the estimate by more than 2 pages (e.g., dense tables or unseen text), you will receive an itemized price adjustment notice. You may pay the difference to proceed or cancel for a full refund before translation work begins.
- Material Decrease (> 2 pages): If the final page count is lower than estimated by more than 2 pages, the difference is automatically refunded to your original payment method.
5.Attestation Services & Custom Quotations
Document attestation and legalization involve multi-step governmental workflows (e.g., Ministry of Foreign Affairs, embassies, notaries, Apostille authorities).
Attestation quotes are custom-priced on a bespoke basis following review of your document type, issuing country, and destination requirements. Quotes remain valid for the period stated on the quotation (typically 7 to 14 days). Government and third-party fee changes outside our control may require quote re-confirmation.
6.Customer Responsibilities & Legibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing clear, legible, complete, and un-obscured document scans or photos.
- Ensuring the accuracy of names, spelling, passport numbers, and specific transliteration requests prior to translation commencement.
- Confirming that the original document is authentic and that you have the lawful right to request translation and attestation.
7.Turnaround Times & Delivery
Standard digital certified translation delivery is typically 24 to 48 business hours from order confirmation and payment. Express translation turnaround is confirmed individually.
Digital stamped certified translations are delivered as secure PDFs accessible via order tracking and email notification. Physical courier delivery within the UAE is dispatched via licensed couriers upon completion where selected.
8.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable Federal Laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.
